Vincy & Paul’s wedding, Los Vientos, Tarifa.

I can think of very few things that could possibly make me enjoy my work more, but shooting weddings in my home town is definitely one, and photographing friends’ weddings is certainly another, so when Vincy and Paul combined the two and asked me to shoot their wedding here in Tarifa, it was an honour and privilege of course, really great fun, and so cool to be there and enjoy the day amongst friends and familiar faces, but also the most rewarding work experience you can imagine.

It was great fun over the months to see their original plan for a very low-key, subdued gathering of close friends and family develop and grow into one of Tarifa’s biggest events of the year, with all the added flavours of combining Dutch, Serbian, Spanish, and Anglo-saxon traditions, and their own personal touches such as the VW Camper as bridal transport, and having Tibu the dog as their ring bearer!

With Scott on the decks spinning the tunes and the Tarifa crew on the dance floor, the party on the beach really kicked off to round off this perfect home event!
