When I arrived at Hacienda San Jose to capture Maria’s preparations, it was obvious that here was a calm and collected bride who didn’t stand on unnecessary fuss, and who would only wish for the most meaningful of people to join her in celebrating her wedding to the equally relaxed Páidí. And so it speaks highly of the people in their lives that so many were invited to be part of their celebration. Even when the taxi to the church failed to show up, we just all jumped in the first available car, and Maria arrived in time for the ceremony, unfazed, and proceeded to enjoy her perfect day!
